On June 20th 1961, Pirates Well Mayaguana, Bahamas was blessed with a treasure who has become one of the greatest men of God of all times, in the person of Pastor Ellison Greenslade. His parents were the late Mr. Bethel Ferguson and the late Mother Gloria Greenslade.
Pastor Greenslade received his early education at the Pirates Well All-Age School in Mayaguana, Bahamas. Later he transferred to the Bahamas Academy Seventh Day Adventist School in Nassau, Bahamas. In 1983, he graduated valedictorian from the Edward Walters College of Jacksonville, Florida, USA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. He has also studied with Teleios Theological Training Institute in Nassau, Bahamas.
In June of 1980, Pastor Greenslade gave his heart to the Lord. Shortly thereafter, he followed Christ in water baptism.
On August 26th 1989, Pastor Greenslade married the girl of his dreams, the former Lelia Williamson. After over twenty-four blissful years of marriage the flames are still burning high. The actual joys and happiness they have shared far exceeded their expectations. God has rewarded him richly with four precious gifts, Nicolette, Ellison II, Elliott and Destiny, all of whom he dearly love. He is an excellent Husband and Father.
In November of 1994, Pastor Greenslade answered the call of God on his life and accepted the appointment as pastor of Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Rock Sound, Eleuthera, Bahamas. For seven years he commuted to the island of Eleuthera every weekend, with very few exceptions which were cases of extreme emergencies.
Listening and obeying the voice of God has led him and his wife to begin a ministry in Nassau, Bahamas. As founders of Bible Truth Ministries, their main focus is to pattern the ministry after the church outlined in the Word of God.
This humble man of God has a passion for helping others and enjoys travelling, bowling and preaching.
