Bible Truth Ministries, an Interdenominational Fellowship, with it’s Motto: “Embracing One And Allâ€, was a vision given to Pastor Ellison Greenslade, by God. With a sincere desire and determination to please God and build His Kingdom, we embarked on this Spiritual Venture. After much prayer and fasting, being led by the Holy Spirit the vision was then shared with thirteen (13) persons at a meeting held, November 21st, 2001, in the office of the Mail Boat Company Ltd., Nassau, Bahamas. During the months of December 2001 and January 2002, a series of prayer meetings and Bible Studies were held at the Greenslade’s residence, Golden Gates No.2 in Nassau, Bahamas, seeking the Lord’s guidance and blessings for the success of this Awesome Move of God.
The first solemn assembly was held Sunday February 3rd 2002, @ 11:00AM in a rented building, 'Tom Mae's Pharmacy Building' on Prince Charles Drive, New Providence, Bahamas, with twenty-two (22) persons in attendance. Twelve (12) of whom joined the church. Pastor Greenslade proclaimed the Word of God under the topic: “Position Yourself !†taken from Ephesians: Chapter Two. Subsequent services of Praise, Thanksgiving and the Profound Proclamation of the Word of God, was preached. We enjoyed sweet fellowship, both formal and informal. Members were consistently admonished to, “Let God be praised, let God be true and every man a liar!†Other ministries were implemented throughout the years as the Holy Spirit directed.
“To God Be The Glory!" The presence of God was manifested as persons were saved and delivered and saints edified.
The dedication of the first phase of the sanctuary was held Sunday December 11th, 2005, 3:30PM. Almighty God opened the windows of Heaven and blessed us with the construction of the first phase of the Ministry in a record three months.
